Christopher Luttrell
Hello! My name is Mister Christopher Luttrell. I teach world geography, drivers education, and AP world history at Orange Cove High in Orange Cove, CA. I am also a varsity assistant football and wrestling coach. I am a 1998 graduate of Tulare Union High School (CA) and US Army Engineer School (MO). I was a member of the US Army as a combat engineer from 1998-2002, and served two tours as a peace-keeper in Kosovo. I graduated from the College of the Sequoias (CA) with an Associate of Arts Degree in 2006, and from California State University Bakersfield (CA) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History in 2008. I was a high school varsity athlete in football, wrestling, and track and field. I participated in track and field as a thrower at COS, and have played club rugby in Germany and arena football for the Ogden Knights. I began my coaching career at Golden West High School (CA) in 2004 as an offensive line coach and track and field coach. I became head football coach at Avenal High School (CA) in 2009. I joined the Hillcrest (UT) staff as an assistant football, wrestling, and track coach in 2011, and joined Cyprus (UT) in 2013 as varsity football special teams coordinator, head wrestling coach and head track and field coach. I am currently the defensive coordinator at Orange Cove High School (CA) and an assistant wrestling coach. I am married to April Luttrell and have two children, Casey and Thomas. In my spare time I enjoy music, fishing and traveling.
